The Cat Top

Here comes another weekend. Nothing special actually, except that my boyfriend finally drive me home... to my real home, which is 70 km away from where we both work. I was quite surprised and happy at the same time. ^_^

I bought this loose cat top from an online store in Facebook called Kei's Fashion. I think it's from Japan/Korea??? The minus things about buying clothes online is that you couldn’t feel the real fabric (when buying clothes, a comfortable fabric is a must for me) and it took AGES to arrive… This one took almost A MONTH to arrive. Huh, well, maybe because shipping system in Indonesia is not well established yet… :( I don't think I'll ever buy clothes online again, it's not worth it...

I did nothing, just chilling out with my sisters at home... My parents are away to pick up my youngest brother for school vacation. So there were only the three sisters at home. It was quite fun, since I haven't catch up with them lately. Looking forward for another weekend!! :)

Prom Dress... Way Back Then...

My sister just had her prom 2 weeks ago. It brought back my nostalgic memories of my own prom back then.

So I searched my closet and this is it! My prom dress from SIX YEARS AGO!! Wow, it’s been six years… It was inspired by Juliet’s dress in Baz Lurhmann’s Romeo and Juliet. It was simple but so gorgeous.

I can’t believe that the dress still fits me, tough I had to suck in my tummies to have a good pose for the pic. Turns out that my body hasn’t changed so much… Hahaha...

I also found a long black gown that I made for my college graduation. Believe it or not, I never wear it. Not even once... That's because I had to wear a kebaya (an Indonesian traditional clothes) for the graduation. So I made two set of outfits, a red kebaya and this black gown. Too bad the black gown never made an appearance. Well, maybe someday...

Hunting for Red Ankle Boots

So I've been craving for a pair of red ankle boots for quite some time. I saw several pairs on the magazine and been meaning to bought them in recommended stores that weekend. Unfortunately, once I got there, they ran out of stocks. There were few ankle boots, but they were brown, color that I'm not very into... I walked to around 4-5 stores that day and ended up with NOTHING!!

I found a few other great booties, but they cost a lot. Since I've been saving for another 'big' plan, the boots hunting has to be postponed 'till further notice. Huh, well... Guess it's not meant to be (yet)... But the great thing about that weekend is that I got to hung out with my friends, watched Terminator Salvation on midnight show, played "Truth or Truth" for the rest of the night, and discovered some ugly truths 'bout my friends. Yayyy... Haha!!

By the way, as usual, I wore a simple monotone outfit combination that day. A black t-shirt, gray babydoll, black leggings, white flats, and a black & white 'batik' scarf as an accent. Oh, and my big hobo bag as always... ^_^

A Day after The Reunion

About three weeks ago, I had a reunion with my college friends. We had an outbound, played flying fox, paintball, high rope, and wall climbing. Those games looked simple, but once I tried them, weeewwww.... it was tough!!

A day after that, I went visiting my former lecturer who got an accident, causing him a broken leg. Poor him... I wanted to wear something comfortable that day cause we had to travel quite far to the hospital. So I put on a comfortable loose top (a very favorite of mine), shorts, tights and flat shoes. It was a bit monotone, so I add the striking yellow scarf to brighten it up.

The scarf was actually my roommate's, Dian. She just realized that she had 'em. As for the big bag, it's my soul mate. I had to carry it everywhere I go. It's huge, so I can practically put anything on it... Ha!
