New Day, New Name

I'm doing three things at the same time now: posting this blog, doing my laundry, and eating grapes. Wew, talking about multitasking... Anyway, here's a quick update on what I wore yesterday.

It was freakin' hot when the picture was taken. My roomie, Dian, also tried to take 'the-sartorialist style' pics but I couldn't stop laughing, so the results were not very 'sartorialist'...

PS: Yes, I changed the blog's name. I thought the previous name was too simple and straightforward, really almost nothing unique about it. So, I changed it... It's still simple, but I like it better. The new header looked really girly, huh? I can't deny it, I love pink too much :P

Today's Random Thoughts

1. Yesterday's karaoke-ing outfit. At first, I wanted to wear that sweater dress with black belt, and tights... but after second thought, I changed into a more comfortable and waaayyy more basic outfit: a hoodie and rolled-up denim. Why? I thought they're just more comfortable, that's all.

2. It's been a long time since I heard about Natalie Portman. She's gorgeous as always on the cover of Interview September 2009.

3. Cute oversized ponytail. I miss my long hair...

4. Current dress obsession: "The Maraschino Dress" from modcloth. It reminds me of my favorite dress when I was a child. So playful and pretty...

I Swear I'll Never...

... go thrifting again. At least not in the two previous thrift market I just went to yesterday. I'm just not a thrift-shopping kinda gal. When I go shopping, the stores have to be nice, clean, neat, with air-cons and good stuffs. Learning from yesterday's experience, thrift markets in Jakarta are definitely NOT for me... Nevertheless, I found two cute dresses... Well, an experience has to be resulted in something, agree??

Anyway, here's what I wore yesterday:

Above photos were taken by Lusi (my BFF, who's also tour guide of the day) in Grand Indonesia after that d*mn thrift-shopping. I originally rolled-up my jeans at the beginning of the day 'cause it was just so HOT!!!

Lusi ended up shopping at F21, while I got nothing there cause they don't have my size... :( I think I'll go there again next week...

Uhmm... got nothing else interesting to share. Oh, I've sent my scholarship application... Cross your fingers for me, I want it so badly!!
